Accessibility Statement
Our commitment to making ashworthwalls.co.uk accessible to everyone.
Our Commitment
Ashworth is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability, technology, or circumstance. We believe that everyone deserves an equal experience when shopping with us.
We are working to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, and we continually review our website to identify and address barriers that may prevent users from accessing our content.
What We Are Doing
- All images on our website include descriptive alternative text for screen reader users
- Our website is navigable using a keyboard alone, without requiring a mouse
- Colour contrast ratios across the site meet or exceed WCAG 2.1 AA requirements
- Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of functionality or content
- Form fields are clearly labelled to assist users of assistive technology
- Our checkout process is designed to be as simple and clear as possible, with plain language throughout
Known Limitations
We are a small team and, whilst we strive to maintain full accessibility, there may be areas of the website that do not yet meet our standards. We are actively working to address the following:
- Some older product images may lack descriptive alt text — we are updating these progressively
- Embedded video content may not yet include full captions or audio descriptions
- Some PDF documents linked from the site may not be fully accessible — plain text alternatives are available on request
How to Get Help
If you encounter any accessibility barrier whilst using our website, or if you need any content provided in a different format, please contact us and we will do our best to assist you promptly.
Response time: We aim to respond to all accessibility queries within 2 working days, Monday to Saturday.
We welcome feedback on our accessibility. If you have found a barrier we haven't listed, please tell us — it helps us improve the experience for everyone.
Formal Complaints
If you are not satisfied with our response to an accessibility concern, you may wish to contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS), which provides advice and support to individuals with concerns about discrimination or accessibility under the Equality Act 2010.
